There are no real electricians in india. In india those who failed in all trades in life become electricians. Basically they do internship under another electricians for 6-12 months and become electrician. the experienced electrician who has interns also came from similar situation so this is a chain of bad training. The worst part is there is not professional standard training course in india to become an electrician.

Your basically advocating for a cashless society where the average Joe loses all their power to decide who to pay , where to spend etc etc, how do you think tradesmen and women got along before everything went to cards and phone apps?? They have massive power over you in the banks and could suspend or close down your account if need be. Nearly all banks are insolvent anyway and if there was a rush on them tomorrow they'd just close everything down , don't think you've got 80,000 worth of financial services protection cos when the shit hits the fan and the banks go down you can bet they won't have 80,000 pounds cover for everyone of their customers. Banks are closing nearly every day in the US so it won't be long before the next crash, with the US trillions in debt and climbing fast everyday how do you think they'll cope with that?? Darn, got me worried now. I broke the seals and pulled the fuse to my UK domestic property this morning so I could add something inside the consumer unit without risking electrocution. I was/am going to tell the electricity supplier so they can come and replace the Seals.... perhaps I'll just leave it now and deny any knowledge when they eventually discover the fuse seals missing!

Item #7 (ie: the 4ft flourescent light) - has been wired with stripped conductor ends going into a plug-in receptacle. They neglected putting an actual male plug onto the wires coming out of the wall - in favor of stripped wiring stuffed directly straight into the light's female receptacle - dafuq???. I'm a disabled/retired Journeyman Electrician (US) and if I saw most any of that I'd be telling the customer that they need a complete demo and renovation from the main service down to the branches, fixtures, and devices. I wouldn't even pretend that any of that is workable or acceptable....

Brit here that moved to US. It amazed me when I first saw it, and not in a good way. Most houses here built in the 50s have no ground, so just hot and neutral. They go to a circuit breaker, but we all know that with no ground, the time it takes to impact the breaker is too long. With the prongs so exposed it's ridiculous. No fuses, no safety features, no nothing, just GFCI or AFCI as the safety, but only in certain areas is it used. A lot of electricians here install a GFCI with no ground, which actually doesn't work in the way they think it does. Open ground all over the place in this country. I have received a shock from UK 230v as a kid, and a shock at 110v in the US as an adult. I know it's all about the amps, but with open ground in the US the shock almost killed me. I think 50% of houses have open ground in at least some locations in there house. Let me tell you, I'd rather receive a shock in the UK with fuse + ground, than a shock here in the US with no fuse + no ground.

It should be really converted into a far safer plug. For 110 V, they can use the existing design, just with a quite deep plug, so that the prongs are not exposed when they are plugged. It can be modelled on German Type F.
